    Eurodance Style Music

Post by Nel Blu on Fri Apr 12, 2013 11:27 pm

A common theme these days among Eiffel 65 fans is a request to either Jeffrey, Maury, or Gabry to produce something that could be considered, "Eurodance Style Music". Fans have gotten little or no response from the three, almost as if to say that Eurodance is a thing of the past, and it's best to leave it there.

Across all genres of music, there are artists who once in a while, produce a track that reflects a style of music (within their main genre) from many years ago. From what I have noticed, fans appreciate songs that are in a bygone style. This is especially relevant when a band has had multiple incarnations, and between those incarnations, have changed style/genre completely. For those groups, doing a song in their former style is something that most or all of their fans respect greatly.

Personally, I know that there is little chance of Eiffel 65 making a fourth album together. I would appreciate if they did, but I attempt to be realistic, and support their solo careers instead. So what I am really asking here is for one of the three to compose a song that is classified as Eurodance. Not any "new" Eurodance, but the same 90's-Early 2000's, melody and baseline driven Eurodance that Eiffel 65 became famous for.

It wouldn't take too much work to produce one song of this genre, but all Eiffel 65 fans would be grateful for many years to come.

Feel free to reply to this with your opinions on this topic.

I agree completely with this. Back in the official forum days from 2010 to 2013 we wereexcited about them reuniting because we missed them and thought they were gonna release a new album or, at least, a new single. But from the way they're going, it seems like that dream is not possible for now even though they kept saying they did made some songs. Don't worry I'm not gonna go ''chrisbu'' to this nor become the new chrisbu, I also support them with their solo careers and I love every song Maury composes or produces so I'm very excited for his songs because even though Jeffrey's my favorite from the three, I like Maury's songs better as a solo artist.
And for a retro eurodance song, oh my that would be very exciting!!! I guess it would be unlikely nowadays since that style's so over a decade ago but is still catchy to this day, I'm even listening to the Contact! album as I'm writing this, I'm listening to ''Lucky'' Smile

Don't worry, SoundWave, I never will accuse you of being negative. You are a true Eiffel 65 fan, and you know what you are talking about. It's cool that you like some of Maury's work even better!

As for me, I like the solo work of all three. However, while their new work is great, it still can't compare to what they did with Eiffel 65, specifically their third album. It's cool that you are listening to "Lucky". Smile

Thank you, I really apreciate that Smile and yes, Maury's work is really amazing because his remixes are the best in my opinion and the song he produced for the band I Moderni called Rivoluzionario is really catchy even though there's only a demo released. But Jeffrey's solo career's really amazing too along with his fellow friends Roby Giordana and Tom Bessan aka Fabio Shock. Gabry's much more active and it would be awsome if Jeffrey and Maury releases videos for their music just like him!
But, as you said, it can't compare to Eiffel 65!! I mean the songs, the videos, the performance, the eurodance style, the outfits, Eiffel 65 will always be the best! Very Happy

Yes. What I would also like to see is Roberto Molinaro team up with Jeffrey and create a track. In my opinion, Molinaro is one of the best remix artists that I know of. The last time I saw them perform together was that video in 2010; It would be great to see them as a team again.

I would also like to know what happened with the "Eiffel 65 ft. Paolo Noise" song. The small clip that I heard in that video sounded great. Even if the track wasn't fully finished, I would like to hear the full clip of the song.
